VIRAL VIDEO

Von Wong

An endless appetite for adventure and an unquenchable thirst for photography have given Benjamin Von Wong a craving for tackling the seemingly impossible. ‘Epic imagery’ is the name of his game. His hyper-realistic style enraptures viewers in a fusion of special effects usually reserved for movies, approaching innovative and captivating concepts on a global scale. Now focused on highlighting conservation issues by using photography to raise funds, Von Wong continues to raise expectations in the most unique fields—meaning his greatest competition is… himself, and his biggest enemy, the threats faced by Mother Nature.

10 MILLION VIEWS IN 8 DAYS AND NOW OVER 40 MILLION VIEWS.

Last August, we decided to volunteer with world-renowned photographer Benjamin “Vong” Wong to help produce a series of videos for his latest awareness project on plastic pollution in the ocean. We decided to do make this a series in three parts. Part 1 & 2 were dedicated to Vong Wong’s fans looking for a behind-the-scenes look at the photoshoot. Part 3 was designed to go viral, with the goal of reaching as many people as possible. And what a success! The video got over 10 million views in just 8 days, with the story getting picked up by major media outlets: CBC, BuzzFeed, The Toronto Star, Upworthy, BoredPanda, Green Peace, Global News, and many more.

You can read more about the project on Von Wong’s blog, HERE.
