For their 2016 season, Formula Drift Canada mandated Go In Motion for all their video production needs. We were in charge of producing video content for Formula Drift Canada’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. Their video marketing strategy consisted in leveraging videos to drive traffic to their social media accounts while also promoting their upcoming events. To achieve that, Go In Motion produced three different types of videos:
- Highlight Reels: Highlight reels of each round were used generate hype for upcoming events. To keep the fans’ attention, Go In Motion made sure to create dynamic images of the utmost quality.
- Short GoPro Clips: Many short GoPro clips were produced to constantly feed the brand’s social media accounts. These great cost-efficient videos were a perfect fit for the audience’s short attention span. The GoPro clips were simple, 20-second raw footage of the race.
- Advertisements: Formula Drift Canada also needed a constant feed of Facebook and Instagram ads in order to promote their events. Our videos proved to offer great engagement and a high conversion rate to their website.
With many sold-out events, the strategy employed by Formula Drift Canada proved to be highly efficient.
